Research field: contaminant interface behavior control and soil-water organic pollution control technology and engineering application.
Academic contribution: on the basis of revealing the molecular mechanism of nonlinear interfacial behavior of organic pollutants, he broke through the scientific problem of accurately predicting and regulating the nonlinear interfacial behavior of organic pollutants; overcame the key technical problems in the application of synergistic remediation of organic contaminated farmland/site soil and large-scale organic bentonite wastewater treatment engineering, and accomplished the systematic achievements in the application of soil-water organic pollution control engineering. He was authorized 21 national invention patents, published 3 monographs, 2 national planning textbooks and 215 SCI papers. Under his supervision, four doctoral students were awarded National Fund for Distinguished/Outstanding Young Scholars and two were awarded National Outstanding Doctoral Dissertations/Nominated Dissertations. He has made important contributions to the development of environmental science and talent cultivation in China.
