The Teachers and Students of College of Environmental & Resource Sciences of Zhejiang University Gather Together at UIUC, Where They Foster Positive Relations and Make an Exchange of Views on Future Development

On December 4, 2017, Mr. Bao Yongping, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee of College of Environmental & Resource Sciences of Zhejiang University, paid a visit to UIUC (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign), where he, on behalf of the College, extended his cordial greetings to the exchange students.
A dozen of exchange students of 2012, 2013, and 2014 UIUC 3+2 Exchange Program of College of Environmental & Resource Sciences, were very surprised to see Mr. Bao Yongping, and they shared their observations on academic study and daily life. Also, they expressed their views on the similarities and differences between College of Environmental & Resource Sciences of Zhejiang University and Environmental College of UIUC in terms of education, teaching, management, and service. They conducted a constructive analysis on such fields as curriculum, academic focus, homework form, teaching method, and college construction, and provided suggestions for the future prospect of Zhejiang University on its way towards "Double First-rate" university. Mr. Bao Yongping was very glad to see the achievements registered by the students. He encouraged the students to cherish this opportunity of studying abroad, earnestly acquire professional knowledge, and greatly enhance their comprehensive capabilities, especially in terms of cross-cultural communication. He expressed his hope that the students, while absorbing the essence of foreign cultures, carry forward the fine tradition of China, and highlight national self-confidence, thus representing an exemplary epitome of College of Environmental & Resource Sciences of Zhejiang University!
