All the fees should be paid in RMB yuan. If for some special reasons, fees are remitted to  the university in US dollars, they should be settled according to the exchange rates between RMB and US dollar of the day of remittance. Students shall make up  the difference of the remittance due to possible exchange rate changes upon  their arrival at the university.

Payment of Tuition

Fees for general  advanced study program are the same as for master's degree programs. Fees for  senior advanced study program and research scholar program are the same as  for doctoral programs.

Application fee is to be  pre-paid to the university account below by telegraphic transfer or to the  International College by postal remittance.  Applications will not proceed  before the fee is received. Other fees can be paid during registration.

An extra RMB 8,000/Year shall  be charged for doctoral programs, master's degree programs,general advanced  study programs, senior advanced study programs, research scholar programs whose  language of instruction is English.

Procedures for Tuition Fee  Payment:

I. Tuition Fee Payment from Outside of  Mainland China:

1. When wiring tuition fee to the  university bank account, current students should fill in his/her name and  student ID number in the blank of “Sender’s Information”. If you ask somebody  else to act on your behalf, please remember to fill in your own name.
2.  When wiring tuition fee to the university bank account, new students should fill  in his/her English name (and the Chinese name if he/she has one). If you ask  somebody else to act on your behalf, please remember to fill in your own name.  New students should also fill their nationalities and the programs they are  going to attend in the Remarks Column.

II. Tuition Fee Payment from Inside of  Mainland China:

1. Students who live in Hangzhou  should go to Zheda Sub-Branch of Bank of China located on No. 28, Qiushi Road  (on the right side of the main gate of Luyuan Apartment).
2. Students  who live outside of Hangzhou should wire their tuition fee to the university  bank account from local Bank of China. Please remember to fill in your own names  and current students should fill your student ID number in the Remarks Column  while new students should fill your nationalities and the programs you are going  to attend in the Remarks Column.

International students who wire the  tuition fee through bank can come to either Zheda Sub-Branch of Bank of China or  the office of International College to get the Receipt of Tuition Fee Payment  with the Bank Remittance Certificate and valid personal ID.
