ES&T:The Inhibited Nitric Oxide Production of Human Endothelial Nitric Oxide Synthase by Nitrated and Oxygenated Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons

2020-04-24

On February 5, 2020, Professor Zhuang Shulin's research group published a research paper in the Journal of Environmental Science & Technology entitled the embedded nitric oxide production of human endotherial nitric oxide complex by nitrated and oxygenic polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. It was found that the formation of nitric oxide (no) in human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) was significantly reduced by nitro polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (NPAHs) and oxidized polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (OPAHs). The molecular interaction of NPAHs / OPAHs and parent PAHs with endothelial nitric oxide enzyme (eNOS) was compared and analyzed by means of environmental computational chemistry, biochemistry and molecular biology, which provided data support and method reference for further research on the vascular endothelial injury effect of PAHs and its derivatives.
