In response to the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and to establish a leading global educational platform, enhancing students' global competence and competitiveness, Zhejiang University will host the 2025 SDG Global Summer School in July 2025. The College of Environment and Resource Sciences at Zhejiang University will offer a specialized course on Carbon Neutrality, featuring distinguished professors from around the world. This course aims to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of carbon neutrality within an international context, delve into implementation pathways, and foster a deeper grasp of sustainable development concepts alongside insights into the latest global initiatives.

2. Ecosystem Carbon Sink

3. Industrial Carbon Sequestration

Key Highlights:

This course aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goal (SDG13): Climate Action. It integrates cutting-edge global theories with practical local case studies, enabling students to master carbon footprint accounting methods, carbon reduction technologies, and renewable energy transition strategies.

A newly added Atmospheric Carbon Emission Measurement and Analysis research module allows students to engage in hands-on data collection and carbon emission modeling using advanced instruments, culminating in a final project presentation.
