Janice E. Thies副教授简介：
1990年获美国夏威夷大学 微生物学博士学位；
1991-1992美国 Oregon State University从事微生物生态学博士后研究；1993-1995澳大利亚University of Western Australia, Research fellow；1995-2000澳大利亚University of Western Sydney高级讲师
2000年至今Cornell University作物与土壤科学系副教授
2002-2004间任著名杂志“Applied and Environmental Microbiology”编委。
Janice教授主要从事土壤与环境微生物分子生态学、土壤质量/健康、生物固氮、转基因作物生态安全风险评价等方向的研究。
