附Yoshimi Suzuki教授简介：
Prof Yoshimi Suzuki is Professor and head of the Environmental Science Division at the Graduate School of Science and Technology of Shizuoka University. Since working at the Meteorological Research Institute of Japan on the importance of organic matter in the ocean, he has been focusing on a wide range of topics related to coral reefs for more than 20 years and is a leading scientist on the organic matter cycling in coral reefs.
He received recently two important prizes: one is Award of Prime Minister as to the contribution of Japanese Marine Science, title is “ Oceanic Carbon Cycle and New Frontier Science of Coral Reef in 2011, July 15 at the Prime Minister House, and another is Chemical Oceanographic Prize from Academy of Oceanographic Institution in 2010, April. He is many government funding committee member and Project leader. And also head of interdisciplinary science division of Shizuoka University, Project leader of Asian –African Environmental leader program supported by Japanese Government.
