Brief introduction of Dr. LUO Dan:
He obtained his BS at University of Science and Technology of China and his Ph.D. at the Ohio State University. Dr. Luo has been with the Dept. of Biosystem and Environmental Engineering of Cornell University since 2001. He has received many rewards including Cornell Provost’s Award for Distinguished Scholarship (2007), National Science Foundation CAREER Award (2006). He was selected by the National Academies as 1 of 100 scientists and engineers nation wide (2003, 2004). Dr. Luo has authored and co-authored many books (chapters). He has published papers extensively in world top journals such as Nature Biotechnology, Nature Materials, and Nature Protocols.
